I had such a busy one last weekend running around seeing some of my dearest friends and taking days out across Kent, including a trip to Hastings on Sunday with Ewan, Louise and Ben. The trip up there was fantastic even if it did take an hour as we drove through such beautiful countryside, seeing a variety of animals and lived in crooked cottages.
My friend Ben kindly drove us up there in his Ford Fiesta and it was so comfortable, I guess I have never noticed just how spacious it really is… With four adults as well as beach gear loaded up in the boot, we have plenty of space to enjoy the scenic drive.
Ben has also kitted out his Ford Fiesta with plenty of high tech equipment including an IPod Connector that allowed us to pump out all of our favourite tunes all the way to Hastings and back. There are so many ways you can add to a Ford car these days it is amazing and with the number of online parts stores what you can pick up!
I'd like to consider Ferrari as a scaled down version of God.

New Look Ford Mondeo…

Images have been posted of the new Ford Mondeo and although it is in the preliminary design stages, there is talk that we should expect to see more of the new Ford model by the end of this year.
The new Ford Mondeo will be based on a four door coupe design much alike to that of the Volkswagen Passat CC. Likely to endure future modifications, the new Ford Mondeo will have a number of changes made to the back of the vehicle ensuring it fully utilises its shape.
With extra attention paid to the key features such as the headlights, wheels and mirrors, they will use top quality materials and encompass a futuristic theme. Said to be available in a number of trims including an ST version and even a hybrid model is on the cards.
I am a big fan of Ford models, I think mainly down to the fact that my first car was a Ford Ka model and so I associate safety and reliability with the brand and have no doubt that my next car will also be a Ford. My local Ford dealer in Sussex stock a large variety of New Ford cars including a Fords Focus RS Sussex which I have had my eye on for a while and they deal with aftersales services such as Ford servicing and repairs.
Check out the picture I have posted and let me know what you think… I think it’s the perfect combination of sophistication and refinement.

Audi joins the Pony Club…

Car manufacturer Audi has already successfully integrated themselves into several communities by supporting the senior England Polo Team and now it seems Audi is cornering the predominantly children’s market and sponsoring the International Pony Club.
With sponsorship until 2012, Audi are investing heavily in the weekly equine gatherings and the sponsorship is set to fund increased training within the clubs to seek out the extra talented under 17 Polo players of tomorrow!
Pony Club polo is played by around 600 people and the age groups range from an impressive 5 right up to 21 named Jorrocks and Gannons. With the hope of reaching extremely competitive professional levels, the increased support from Audi will make this happen a lot quicker than expected.
UK Audi spokesman Jon Zammett has reportedly released a statement detailing the partnership and he says that they are “delighted to help develop the next generation of England's polo professionals." Exciting times ahead for both the Pony Club and the Audi in Northwest, South and all over! I remember the hours of fun I used to have with my Pony across the country playing Polo, which makes me think, where are those rosettes I coveted so much?
Women always go for speed and power?

It is always claimed that women tend to go for Speed and Power as a lifestyle choice, but this could actually be somewhat of a myth according to a recent motoring Poll that found Both Speed and Power ranked relatively low as a factor when a woman is buying a car.
It has shown that it is in fact men that have an insatiable need for speed and women find the prospect of buying a larger more powerful vehicle very intimidating! It was the smaller sized cars that made up the majority of sales for women as we are highly concerned with safety and the small to medium sized cars provide more security for us.
Men have shown a strong tendency to go for the premium brands, including top quality brand Audi cars which have a strong clear design message and carry the undeniable badge of quality. It makes me wonder though, if the premium brands continue to produce the smaller sized vehicles, will women combine their needs and join the men in their brand choices?
One brand however that tends to cross over these findings is Mini, the BMW smaller sized cars. It has been found that the car has in fact been most successful with sales in women rather than men and I wonder if this could be also down to the fact that the French brand is perceived as extremely stylish…
Let me know your thoughts, which type of car ticks your box?
Joe Cole in hot water thanks to his dismissal of the UK Motoring Law...

HOT Liverpool FC player Joe Cole has landed himself in a bit of trouble after he was caught driving at 105mph in Surrey!! Found Guilty of speeding yesterday, Joe Cole committed the motoring offence in his ultra-trendy new Audi A4 worth a reported £40,000.
Although the higher end of the price range, its small change for a guy that is getting paid around £90,000 a week! The trail yesterday in Staines (massive!!) was not attended by the footballer himself but a family solicitor Mr. Loophole from trusted Solicitors Nick Freeman’s.
The barrister questioned the speedometer on the new Audi and also denied that the picture caught of Cole speeding did not feature Cole smiling! Scrutinized by the judge for not attending his trail, Cole was proclaimed guilty as charged which more than certainly topped off his already bad week started by his performance in the Liverpool game on Sunday that saw the star sent off!
Ooh La La for the Renault Clio 4…

I was surfing the net this week and have found a brand new image of the all-new Renault Clio 4, although yet unconfirmed, it looks pretty swish! If the picture is true to form, the new Renault Clio looks as though it has received some welcome modifications in the shape of newly designed headlights, additional door handles as well as a flash new set of wheels to boot. The overall look is certainly a whole lot more forceful of a design, which I think personally, works very well.
The new hatchback is rumoured to be released to the public at its hometowns Parisian Motor Show at the end of September, but as I say it is all very cloak and dagger at present. As soon as something more concrete comes up, I will let you know so watch this space!!
Subaru does their bit for the planet!

Japanese Automotive brand Subaru have been extremely competent in their aims in lowering their environmental footprint, not only building vehicles with lowered CO2 emissions, but also recycling almost all of their waste and using it for various causes, with a ‘Zero Landfill’ policy.
In the USA, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. became the first automotive engineering Centre to take on this challenge back in 2004, which has almost definitely set the pace for many other Subaru plants over the US. It currently makes use of 99.3% of its products including wood and glass and sends the remaining percentage to Indianapolis to be burnt and this is converted into steam power for the city. It has been so successful that current statistics show the average household contributes more to the landfill in a year then the Indianapolis plant does!
The Indiana Subaru Centre that produces such new Subaru cars as the Subaru Legacy and the Subaru Forester is aiming to follow suit and increase environmental policies and integrate themselves into the business community to increase productivity. Environmental policies seem to be doing extremely well at Subaru, producing even more greener models every year which really is a comforting thought, preserving our environment for our future generations.
I can only hope that other Car manufacturers take heed and help to increase these small but fundamental changes…

Is this Ford’s quickest mustang?
The new 2012 Mustang Boss 302 is according to Ford bosses, the quickest and best handling Ford Mustang across the pond. The design based on the 2011 Ford Mustang GT has drawn inspiration from the 1969 original Mustang classic quoted as the "best all-around machine ever created by Ford".
Using the luxurious BMW M3 as a benchmark, the new 2012 Mustang Boss 302 is set to be a top performance vehicle thanks to its powerful 5.0-litre V8 engine and a six-speed close-ratio manual gearbox. With lowered suspension and a clutch inspired by those of a racing car, there are three different driving modes including normal, comfort and sport allowing you to personalise your drive to suit your needs.
There have been stylish modifications to the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 exterior such as a new look grille, 19 inch wheels as well as a new exclusive front fascia. Inside the cabin of the car, there are Recaro sports seats and a trendy Alcantara steering wheel.
As well as the new 2012 Mustang Boss 302 there is also talk of a new track inspired Boss 302 Laguna Seca model that is a special edition from Ford Motors. Available to buy in a Black or Ingot Silver paint with red accents colour scheme it sounds pretty damn hot!
In the meantime, Ford has their super-fast range of Ford cars including the new Ford Fiesta that will more than fulfil my need for speed. My nippy Ford Ka may not be the fastest vehicle on the planet, but it certainly gets me from A to B in speedy timing!
