Going Green, A-List Style!

It’s all over the news of late, going green, being environmentally friendly and reducing your carbon footprint. So...What are we doing about it?

It seems many Hollywood Stars are cashing in on this and purchasing a Hybrid Car, so much so the vehicle has almost become the fashion accessory to be seen with, especially for those stars who are already involved with environmental charities and foundations.

The celebrities currently ‘going green’ include; Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks and Cameron Diaz to name few. The list is ever growing as is the ‘hybrid car’ brand.
It is great to see celebrities in a position to influence embracing the idea of environmentally friendly cars, but it is also slightly ironic when the types that are driving down pollution by using these cars are also using private jets that burn an incredible amount of jet fuel! Then again, with 5 or 6 cars on some stars’ drives, can we say the cars are even driven enough to cause an impact?

Many car dealers have embraced this idea introducing a number of Hybrid cars to their forecourt that aim to bring down the air pollution and lighten your environmental footprint as well as looking the part. I must admit there really is no excuse why more of us are not going green and owning a Hybrid, after all if it is good enough for Brad then it is good enough for me!!
