With all of this buzz regarding tour operators causing wide spread problems, flight cancellations and Eurozone’s debt crisis, it seems that my idea for a holiday to Egypt has been put very much on hold.
Research has been made into these holidaying problems and it seems I am not the only one either with a whopping 1 in 4 holidaymakers now taking their summer getaways in much more local climbs, inside the UK!! This is a massive amount of people not only staying in the country but also having to use their cars to venture to their holiday destinations.
So…it gets me thinking. If we are to say ‘holiday’ to Scotland this year or even Somerset, how will we get there? Both my boyfriend and I have dinky Ford Ka’s in Kent and have no intention of purchasing a spanking new car in the next four or five weeks, therefore our only option is to modify the cars so that we can make the longer journey.
I have had a look online, as earlier this year I needed to kit out my car for my Glastonbury trip and I found a great Ford online parts store that stocked fantastic and I mean fantastic mud flaps for my wheels and also guards for my inside cabin floor. They stock a great range of Ford roof racks for the car and I can only imagine that they have had great success of late with the sales of Ford accessories, with it being holidaying season and all.
I will post a pic as soon as I have fitted my new Roof rack. Exciting.
